Affiliate Disclosure

How YarnFinds may earn money and how I keep my recommendations honest.

Last Updated: October 4, 2026

I want to be open about how YarnFinds may earn money, so you can trust what you read here.

What Are Affiliate Links?

An affiliate link is a special link to a product or shop. If you click it and buy something, the shop may pay me a small commission. The price you pay stays the same.

Programs I Take Part In

Right now, I am not part of any affiliate program, and the site has no affiliate links. If I join a program in the future, I will list it on this page and mark affiliate links in my posts.

My Promise of Honesty

  • I only recommend things I think can help a knitter.
  • A commission never decides which free patterns go into a roundup.
  • Free patterns are chosen because they are free, complete and fit the post.

FTC Compliance Statement

This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). When a post contains affiliate links, I will say so near the top of that post.

Why Affiliate Links Matter

Running a website costs money for hosting, tools and time. Affiliate income, if I add it later, helps keep every roundup and guide on YarnFinds free to read.
