My Commitment to Copyright
YarnFinds features free knitting patterns made by other designers. I respect their work. I credit every designer by name, link to their original page and never republish a full pattern on this site. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, I want to know and will act quickly.
How to Report Infringement
Please send a notice through my Contact page that includes:
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed;
- the URL of the page on YarnFinds where the material appears;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
When I receive a complete notice, I will remove or disable the material and let you know.
Designated Agent
Copyright notices for YarnFinds go to me, Ali, the site owner, through my Contact page.
Counter-Notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with:
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- the material that was removed and where it appeared;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat Infringers
I will remove content from anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
Designers: You Don’t Need a Formal Notice
If you are a designer and simply want your pattern, photo or credit changed or removed, a short message is enough. Tell me the page and what you would like, and I will take care of it.
Changes
I may update this policy. The “Last Updated” date above shows the latest version.
